Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Scrum Master who can drive execution excellence, manage dependencies across teams, and enable a high-performing Agile environment. This role requires a strong balance of Agile coaching, stakeholder management, and data-driven delivery improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Flow & Delivery Excellence
- Own end-to-end execution and dependency management across teams
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve blockers to ensure smooth delivery
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Project Managers on priorities and risks
- Analyze bottlenecks using Value Stream Mapping, Cumulative Flow Diagrams, and dependency tracking
- Manage team capacity and ensure sustainable delivery
Iteration Execution
- Drive structured and prioritized work intake aligned with team capacity and PI objectives
- Ensure all work is accurately tracked in Azure DevOps (ADO) with clear acceptance criteria and traceability
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Provide clear and timely status updates to stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
- Drive implementation and tracking of retrospective action items
- Use delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, flow metrics) to identify improvement opportunities
- Implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and throughput
Agile Team Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety
- Coach teams on Agile principles, best practices, and maturity improvement
- Conduct team skill and maturity assessments
PI Planning & SAFe Execution
- Participate in and support PI Planning activities
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies across teams during the PI cycle
- Collaborate with RTEs, Product Owners, and Project Managers for alignment
Operational Excellence
- Maintain tools and artifacts in ADO, SharePoint, and other platforms
- Ensure backlog grooming, data quality, and governance standards are met
- Lead and coordinate incident management and change management using ServiceNow
- Contribute to Agile communities of practice and continuous learning initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies in enterprise environments
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO) (mandatory)
- Familiarity with ServiceNow (incident & change management)
- Experience with Agile metrics and reporting:
- Velocity tracking
- Cumulative Flow Diagrams
- Value Stream Mapping
- Proven experience in dependency management and cross-team coordination
- Strong stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, and Business teams
- Experience in SAFe / PI Planning environments preferred
- Ability to drive execution, accountability, and delivery outcomes
