Job Title: Materials Control Specialist
Duration: 6 months
Location: Tulsa, OK 74103
Pay Rate: $38/hr

We’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow, especially in areas like supply chain processes, purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor coordination. The role involves handling invoices, basic data entry, and ensuring accurate routing to the appropriate teams. You’ll also interact regularly with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams including supply chain buyers. Prior exposure to supply chain, accounting, invoicing, or tools like Oracle (reconciliation) is helpful but not mandatory. Industry background is flexible.
Summary:
The Material Control Specialist supports engineering projects by coordinating materials throughout the project lifecycle. This includes scheduling materials, managing documentation, tracking status, and reconciling installed assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material procurement to ensure timely delivery for construction
- Gather material cost and delivery data during planning
- Prepare requisitions and review vendor quotations
- Act as liaison between design, materials management, project teams, and construction
- Monitor procurement progress, expediting, and inspections
- Resolve delivery issues and manage material documentation
- Handle vendor drawings and ensure timely approvals and compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
