Pest Control Coordinator

Location: San Leandro, CA 94577
Duration: 6-Month Contract​ to start with
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.
Work Location: Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Pest Control Coordinator to support a focused pest management improvement initiative within a food manufacturing facility. This project-based role will serve as the primary liaison between the facility and the contracted pest control provider.

The coordinator will drive the execution of pest prevention strategies, track corrective actions, and ensure that pest management activities are completed effectively and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support facility pest control improvement plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the facility and contracted pest control provider.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of additional traps and bait stations.
  • Support exterior pest treatment programs.
  • Partner with facility and landscaping teams on improvements designed to reduce pest activity.
  • Track pest control action items and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accountability for corrective actions and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of pest prevention and control programs.
  • Assist with identifying potential pest risks and implementing appropriate preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to pest control activities.
  • Support overall food safety and facility pest management requirements.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in pest control, pest management, facility operations, food manufacturing, quality, sanitation, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to track multiple action items and ensure timely completion.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
