Title- Payroll Specialist
Duration- 3-month contract to start with
Location- Folsom, NJ, 08037
Hybrid Job- 2-3 days Onsite, 2 days remote
Pay Rate- $32.00/ hr.
Summary
- The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing scheduled multi-state weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll, as well as occasional off-cycle payments. Client processes pay under several Federal EINs, includes hourly and salaried employees, and is comprised of both union and non-union employees. This includes processing all special compensation and bonus payments with the highest standard of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. Timely preparation and submission of invoices for payroll funding, tax payments, and third-party payments is paramount.
- Primary Skills - In-house payroll experience with union and multi-state payroll, and Workday payroll experience
- 3-month contract with possible extension
- 2 rounds of interview,- 1st round is virtual and 2nd round is either virtual or onsite
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience processing, multi-state, and union payroll experience
- Workday payroll and time entry experience preferred, including an understanding of data imports and manual inputs
- Experience in completing tax registrations and payments, managing vendor relationships
- Microsoft Office experience required, expert Excel skills preferred
- High-level customer service experience
