Manufacturing QA Technician

Pay Rate: $27/hour
Duration: 3-month contract to start

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing QA Technician to ensure the quality and safety of milk products in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will perform quality inspections, conduct product testing, monitor production processes, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety practices.

Work Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday (Sat- Wed), 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Must be available for overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished milk products for quality and safety.

• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety requirements.

• Maintain equipment calibration and maintenance records.

• Identify and report quality issues and collaborate with production teams on corrective actions.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Assist with internal and external quality audits.

• Record, analyze, and report quality inspection results and metrics.

• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in food manufacturing.

• Knowledge of quality control procedures and food safety standards.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to work the assigned schedule and overtime as needed.
