Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join a manufacturing facility in Leominster, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, and improving industrial production equipment.
This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial production and facility equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Repair, replace, and maintain mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform basic plumbing and welding tasks.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, basic blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Operate drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools as needed.
- Maintain critical spare parts inventory and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Support continuous equipment performance and efficient manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electro-mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and basic electrical concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and handle heavier items with appropriate assistance.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime as required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $40.00 per hour
- Earning Potential: Approximately $1,925–$2,800 per week, including mandatory overtime, depending on hours worked.
